Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 6 months
Description:
Champion and lead Unit Test and Compliance/interoperability testing of Redfish REST API service and Redfish client utilities—including development of test utilities and test procedures and executing tests.
Client seeking contractor to work with client ESI software developers to lead and champion unit test efforts and interoperability testing efforts. The position would include development of automated test utilities (using python or bash scripts), and development of detailed test procedures. The candidate should have a passion to develop thorough comprehensive unit/interoperability tests that verify that the utilities and services are working in compliance with MAN pages and DEV SPECs. The utilities and services being tested are written in python and bash. The test lead will also become familiar with several existing open source Redfish REST API compliance test tools.
What are the three to five technical responsibilities of the position:
Experience needed:
- General: bash scripting, Github, Markdown, Linux, and Python 3.4+ utility Development (nice to have)
- Specific:
- Json data processing
- BASH Test Scripts to automate running open source client tools
- Python Test Scripts in some cases probably very beneficial
- Follow MAN pages exactly to verify utilities are correctly implemented
- Follow Install and quickstart Manuals exactly to verify instructions
“A successfully completed background check will be required; which will include a criminal history search in the current jurisdiction residing and is employed as well as in each jurisdiction where resided or been employed over the past seven (7) years. A 5 panel drug screen will also need to be successfully completed.”
