8+ Years’ experience in BI solutions designing and developing , using Cognos
Strong understanding and ability in working with the Cognos Business Intelligence technical stack, including Framework Manager modeling
Experience in Cognos 11 report development, analytics
Experience in working on large Data Warehousing environments
Experience in report & SQL performance tuning.
Understanding of basic manufacturing business terminologies & processes
Basic knowledge of OLAP (CUBE Modeling) and DMR (Dimensionally Modeled Relational Data)
Technical/Functional Skills
Work with users & SME to design solutions for their reporting requirements
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong listening skills
Create metadata models using Cognos framework manager
Understand & validate the data model in collaboration with data modeler & SMEs
Define reporting solution standards, guidelines & templates
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Ability to balance multiple projects and work both independently and as part of a team
