Position:Transmission Controls Engineer
Location:Auburn Hills, MI
Duration:Fulltime
Required Skills:
8 years of total work experience, with a minimum 5 years applying transmission controls expertise
Knowledge in program management
SIL, MIL, and HIL
Plant models used to create control solutions
Integrated powertrain control (torque characterization, engine/transmission interactions, powertrain optimization strategies)
Driving strategy
Shift controls
Driveline system control
Diagnostics and vehicle electrical systems
Knowledge in TCC and line pressure controls (TCC adaptation, TCC Slip controls- including micro slip, lockup engagement and full lockup strategy, TCC versus Temperature, TCC versus Grade and Gear operation, Line pressure controls strategy, Controls theory- closed loop and open loop controls)
Safety/knowledgeable in ISO26262
Demonstrated potential to lead, inspire and deliver
Adept at communicating technical issues, both verbally and written
