Title: IT PM (Infra)
Location: Rockville, MD (Locals Only)
Duration: Long Term
Interviews: Phone and F2F
The primary responsibilities of this critical position will be to ensure the timely and effective delivery of special projects across multiple locations. This will include not only planning the technology projects but also working in a hands-on capacity with both IT professionals and the business in order to successfully complete projects. Some of the traits for success in this position are being a strong and confidant communicator with a great attention to detail. A high degree of organization and follow-through are also critical. A partial list of specific responsibilities is below.
Work with stakeholders to develop system and project requirements
Develop project timelines
Outline requirements and resources needed
Lead team of IT professionals to implement projects
Frequently communicate with both team members and management regarding plan progress
Test implementation against requirements prior to “go-live” and provide accurate reporting of both successes and failures.
Experience
7 years of experience in the management of complex projects in a fast paced environment
Proven track record in delivering projects on-time and on budget
Expert use of various project management software tools
Business / IT architecture skills are an advantage
Supervisory experience in an IT Department
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required
Have the proven ability to present to senior management
Having a working knowledge of the Investment/Funds industry is a strong plus
