Position: SAP MM/PP Business Analyst
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6 months
Summary: Due to increased level of demand on the team, the CMD BA MM/PP team require a proficient MM/PP BA to help supplement the team for an initial period of six months. This is a business analyst role, therefore the suitable resource will have core business knowledge. The resource will be able monitor, maintain, and optimize business solutions. This is not a technical or functional role.
Role Scope / Deliverables: The scope of the roles is to supplement the team, by managing the timely resolution of tickets and managing of enhancements and small projects known as mini projects.
Key Skills:
Knowledge of business processes and SAP within production planning and materials management area of a sophisticated equipment manufacturing business,
Directly support users, researches gaps in functionality, gathers requirements of users and presents recommendations to teams both technical and business.
Excellent grasp of industry and subject matter best practices, trends, and concepts. Ability to apply these concepts into the SAP environment and business process.
Will be able to quickly build credibility with
the business and counterparts to ensure effective Organizational Change Management.
Manage Service Desk functions to resolve and progress user related support calls
Aid in the Improvement of Business process
Develop process documentation for processes and procedures
Translate user requirements into user requests and functional specifications
Work with programmers to assure compliance to functional specifications
Prepare and execute test plans for new functionality
Develop user acceptance tests scripts
Publish communication related to the deployment of new functionality
Develop training outlines for end-users
