Job Description :
Title: System Engineer
Location: Pontiac, Michigan
Position Type: Long Term Contract

POSITION OVERVIEW:
A System Engineer will provide definition and direction of customer requirements for the development of systems level architecture by performing the following duties;
Develop system design and verification plans - evaluate customer requirements and product a technical design specification and verification plan for the Engineers
Perform a failure mode effect analysis at the system level to drive design improvements
Create and track a schedule for design development and verification
Act as a Champion for a program that directs software, hardware and mechanical design efforts
Develop prototype systems hardware and firmware
Analyze system hardware architecture and define improvements
Define system level requirements and develop system level architectures

Job Requirements:
Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from a four-year college or university. Master''s degree is preferred
2-5+ years’ experience with automotive active safety camera systems
Knowledge of hardware, software and optics
Process-oriented experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer interaction
