Job Title: QA Automation Engineer
Location: Durham, NC
Duration: 12 months
Previous experience with Cisco product portfolio (i.e. Routers) is a plus

Responsibilities:
Setup Openstack environment, automate the creation and deployment of VMs which will enable automated running of regression suites and reporting of results. Manual testing to find bugs, defects, and regressions. Design, implement, execute automated test cases and scripts. Validate and document completion of testing and development. Automate test cases. Verify fixes. 3 years of experience are required.
General:
Be part of the Agile Scrum Team: attend daily stand-up meetings, attend iteration planning meetings
Work on assigned user test cases and a tasks
Be adaptive to last minute changes to the design and architecture.
Identify and Resolve Complex Problems at the System Level.
Find bugs, defects, and regressions.
Design, implement, execute and debug information technology test cases and scripts.
Work with Development team to influence Overall Solution
Automation:
Deploy software on the servers as needed.
Setup an OpenStack environment for self-deploying VMs
Review User Stories, develop test plans for automation framework.
Automate test cases
Validate and document completion of testing and development.
Be ready to troubleshoot code with the product teams
Minimum Requirements:
3 years of programming/automation experience in Java/Ruby/Python/Perl language in a large scale project.
Must be familiar with Openstack, Java, Ruby, Selenium, Cucumber, and Automated deployment
Will be tested on ability to code in Java/Ruby during interview
Experience working in Agile development environment
Independent and self-motivated
BS or higher in Computer Science or Related Field
Additional desired skills:
Creative problem solving and debugging skills
Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills are must.
Proven ability to develop test plans and deliver high-quality testing results or scripts on schedule
Ability to learn quickly and critically
