Unidesk IT Consultant
Location: Hartford, CT
Duration: 6 months with possible contract to hire
Description
Please Note: Unidesk skill set is required
Experienced desktop engineer who possesses excellent written and verbal communications and skills soft skills
- MCSE preferred
- Advanced troubleshooting, including enabling/reading logs, documenting test cases and attempted fixes
- Skills in vendor escalation and management
- Ability to lead a mid-sized technical project from start to finish (ex, product upgrade, new GPO, new package that will impact users, low impact infrastructure upgrade)
- Expert in Windows operating systems, 7, 10, 2012 R2
- Expert Skills of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and System Registry
- Expert Skills in Microsoft Deployment Toolkit 2010, 2012 and 2013
- Expert Skills in Productivity tools including Office 2013, O365, Browsers)
- Expert Skills in Microsoft Deployment Toolkit 2010, 2012 and 2013
- Strong Active Directory, Group Policy skills
- Strong Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop skills
- Knowledge of MDT
- Experience with SysInternal tools
- Strong Scripting Skills (Batch Files, VBScript, PowerShell, WiseScript)
- Ability to assist with System Images, Software Update Deployments, Vulnerability Remediation Methods, Change Management, System Engineering Lifecycle Documentation, System Migrations and Deployments,
- Ability to triage scenarios to and redirect to or bring in additional subject matter experts for problem resolution
- Effective organizational, writing, and communication skills
- Works in conjunction with clients to eliminate gaps and inconsistencies in the initial information system architectures to ensure that solution meets client needs and to develop relationships with clients
- Shows willingness to work with numerous support teams including testing, development, architecture, network, and program management to ensure that all related database necessities are warranted and provided
- Knowledge/experience with Kanban/Agile/SAFe would be a plus
- Knowledge RES One Workspace /RES One Appstore RES One Automation
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft App-V
- Knowledge/experience with Kanban/Agile/SAFe would be a plus
- Tanium knowledge would be a plus
