A. Project background: (Describe the department and the project for which the contractor is being hired

Our client’s Workday Program (the Program) is a campus-wide program designed to modernize the University's administrative systems, business processes, data management, and technical architecture. The program focuses on implementation of the Workday HCM/Payroll and Financials Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) modules. The Program is organized into five teams:

1. HCM/Payroll, responsible for business process design, configuration, and testing of Workday HCM/Payroll

2. Financials, responsible for business process design, configuration, and testing of Workday Financials

3. Technical, responsible for interface/integration development, report development, data conversion, and security for both Workday solutions

4. Stakeholder Engagement and Campus Readiness, responsible for ensuring campus awareness of, involvement in, and readiness for the Workday products

5. Program Enablement, responsible for Program budget, methodology, financial management, status reporting, risk and issue management, Program governance support, and administration

B. Contractor’s responsibilities: (Describe in detail what the contractor will be doing. Specify to whom the contractor will report and who will authorize payments

The Worker shall develop, track and execute project plans for the HCM/Payroll team’s responsibilities. The Worker shall report to the HCM/Payroll Program Director and work closely with project manager roles in the other Program teams to:

· Define the major decisions, tasks, and deliverables necessary to successfully implement Workday HCM/Payroll

· Create a work plan that details the steps, responsible organization staff, dependencies, timeframes, deliverables, key milestones, and communication activities to address all impacts within time and resource constraints

· Assist the Director of HCM/Payroll in preparing staff who will execute and manage planned workstreams, developing progress monitoring mechanisms, addressing risks to successful completion of the plan, and assessing progress

· Develop and institute a process to manage adjustments to the work plan in response to new information, issues, risks, and/or opportunities

· Serve as a liaison of the HCM/Payroll project team, facilitating communication and coordination with the program enablement and project managers in other Program teams to report status and resolve cross-team issues.

· Identify risks and issues, report risks and issues to appropriate managers and executives, and help identify and implement resolutions or mitigation approaches

Organizationally, the Worker will collaborate on management efforts as requested.

C. Work hours and location: (Describe the typical work hours, e.g., M-F, 8-5, and the work location

1. The work hours will typically be Monday through Friday from 8 a.m5 p.m., excluding State holidays when the University is closed, unless other arrangements are approved by the Worker’s supervisor.

2. The work location will be on our client’s main campus. As stated in the contract, any and all travel, per diem, parking, and/or living expenses shall be at the Worker’s and/or Vendor’s expense.

3. The Worker may be required to work outside the normal business hours on weekends, evenings and holidays, as requested. Payment for work over 40 hours will be at the hourly rate quoted and must be coordinated and pre-approved by the Worker’s supervisor.
