Summary of Duties
Focusing primarily on translating various business requirements into
workable and understandable data conversion requirements to support the
Workday Enterprise implementation under the general supervision of the
conversion lead. Utilizes Datastage, Microsoft and other standard extract,
transform and load (ETL) tools and processes to efficiently, accurately, and
securely acquire, transform and load large sets of data from various sources
within the university. Responsibilities include creating conversion design
documents, source to target mapping, testing and debugging of the conversion
programs with in-depth strong understanding of XML and SQL.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
3 to 5 years work experience in the development/maintenance of applications
or data warehouse; knowledge of relational databases, Datastage with strong
SQL, XML and data analysis experience; strong documentation and
communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with Workday implementations, financial data (Oracle DB) and data
conversion from multiple large disparate data sources; experience working
with PeopleSoft, JIRA, .NET, XSLT, SQL Tuning experience
