JOB DESCRIPTION :

The Senior Quality Analyst is responsible for collaborating with the EOE/EEC Organization, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and developers in the process of creating and documenting test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test scripts, as well as executing test cases and documenting test results.
As a member of the team, adherence to the organization’s methodologies and standards, and also propose improvements based on QA best practices.
Develop and implement test methodologies to ensure repeatable test approaches.
Daily usage of the following tools: Microsoft Team Foundation Server, SharePoint, SQL Server, IBM Rational Team Concert.
Test all tiers and components of the application architecture including, database content, user interfaces, user workflows, reports, and data interfaces.
Identify test data requirements for test cases, manage test data and technology based integration, systems and regression testing.
Accurately document test results and log defects.
Proactively raise issues and offer solutions.
Participate in daily scrum meeting to discuss current tasks and status.
Submit weekly status reports.



Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
7+ years of experience as a software quality assurance specialist.
At least 1 year of experience with test automation tools, e.g., IBM Rational Functional Tester would be a plus.
Extensive experience testing databases and knowledge of advanced SQL queries.
Testing experience in different web browsers on various operating systems.
Thorough knowledge of tools and processes used for the Quality Analysis and Software Development Lifecycle Process.
Proven track record working on large-scale projects with diverse stakeholders and with cross-functional teams.
Experience related to attendance and billing systems a plus.
Experience related to child care systems a plus.
Ability to adjust to changing situations to address emergencies, program changes, or production requirements.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and use discretion in handling confidential information.
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
