Need to have 3-5 years of experience in Sterling
Specifically, check on
1. Experience with configuring and setting up IBM MQ is required
2. Strong knowledge of Sterling API’s is required
3. must have store retail experience
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position requires strong working knowledge of IBM Sterling OMS architecture and Core Java programming.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Meets with technical leads, architects and vendor partners to determine project scope and vision, set system goals, identify and resolve system issues, ensure the system is implemented as designed and in adherence to the implementation guidelines.
Partners with the business analysts to review and refine business requirements into core system capabilities.
Assists developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and validating solutions that meet business requirements.
Prototypes new requirements for the purpose of enhancing technical functionalities and information process flow.
Develops and/or configures builds, reviews and unit tests software/solutions.
Assists in QA efforts on tasks worked by providing input for test cases and supporting test case execution.
Works directly with the business users to provide support including design and development of customer training materials, and conducting customer training sessions.
Mentors team members on new technologies in area of expertise.
Works with Enterprise teams to ensure changes are properly documented, communicated, audited, and deployed in compliance with established procedures.
Participates in 24x7 on call rotations.

REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
Bachelor''s degree or 4-year equivalent required. College degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
3 to 7 years experienced with Sterling Commerce / IBM Selling and Fulfillment Suite implementations preferred
5 to 9 years of experience developing web applications using enterprise Java technologies
Retail experience is preferred
IBM Sterling Order Management Deployment 9.1 Certification is preferred
Programmer certification in Java is preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Training/Systems
Strong technical knowledge of IBM Order Management''s modules such as Platform, DOM, Supply Collaboration, GIV, Catalog Management and Reverse Logistics
Strong knowledge of Sterling Commerce architecture
Strong working knowledge in build/deployments and integration of Sterling OMS with enterprise applications is preferred
Strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle in particular) is preferred
Strong knowledge of specific tools/technologies including XML, XSLT, JSP, JDBC, DOJO and HTML is preferred
Strong working experience with SVN or GIT for source code management is preferred
Strong knowledge of memory management and performance tuning related to Sterling OMS is preferred
Strong knowledge of building Sterling Commerce applications using Eclipse and its plugins is preferred
Strong knowledge with web service technologies including SOAP, REST, WSDL and Axis is preferred
Ability to work independently, work in a fast paced environment, and manage workload prioritization to deliver high quality work products on time with minimal direction is preferred
Demonstrated collaboration skills with the ability to handle conflict and to work with a distributed team
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to use proven problem-solving approaches to most solutions.
