Network Video Delivery Engineer
Possible Contract (US Citizen or Green Card candidates ONLY)
Mode of Interview: Phone and In Person/ Skype
Duration: 6 Months+ (high propensity to extend)
Location: Walnut Creek, CA
Role Description:
Our client, is seeking a strong Network Video Delivery Engineer with a “can do” attitude to work in our Network Services department. Individuals submitting for this position must show the ability to think both critically and creatively, independently and cooperatively, and be flexible and agile. Requires a strong Network background and experience with Video Conferencing (Vidyo preferred Must possess the ability and self-confidence to adapt to rapid or major change, be curious with a desire to learn, have the ability to influence across the team and to champion change with a profound understanding of the importance of teamwork. Potential candidates must show strong technical project engineering skills, strong customer focus, and excellent analytical and good communication skills. Prospect must have the ability to interface, partner, and influence network vendors and technology partners.
Requirements
Engineer with strong Networking, Video Infrastructure and systems skillsets
Good communication skills
Strong customer interface skills
Experience with Cisco Unified Communications which is a must have.
Engineer Skillsets
1. Networking background with strong emphasis on Video Conferencing
2. General Video technology (Polycomm or Cisco experience, Vidyo experience desired)
3. VMWare knowledge preferred
4. Windows Server knowledge including ability to build virtual servers
5. Ability to think strategically
Technical Project Engineering Skillsets
1. Create and maintain technical implementation/migration plan
2. Work with client technical team to gather information
3. Schedule and coordinate
4. Partner / Work with Network Vendors
