Mandatory Skills:
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, finance, economics, or related quantitative fields with 5+ year of work experience
- Proven working experience in analytical and data management
- Proficiency in SQL and SAS
- Experience in working on Unix
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Master’s degree with 2-3 years of work experience
- Working knowledge about single family mortgage financing
- Working knowledge of building/using model
- Working knowledge about fixed income portfolio management
- Experience with Python or other general purpose languages
- Experience working with Unix shell script
Responsible for data and analytic supports of single family portfolio management Framework project. Develop new portfolio performance analytics. Evaluate portfolio impact of new portfolio management strategies. Testing new models and model adjustments. Visualize results to share with business decision makers. Works independently and under normal supervision. Work is reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy.
Detailed Responsibility:
- Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources
- Execute models on PC and UNIX platforms
- Interpret and analyze data using statistical techniques
- Prepare presentation to communicate finds
- Other related duties as reasonably assigned
