Title: Datastage Administrator
Location – Boston, MA
Duration: 6+months

Keys to the position:
Must have at least 5 years of DataStage Administration experience.
Must have hands experience with IBM InfoSphere software installation and configuration (v 9.1 and above)
Role Description:
Well experienced in installation and configuration of the product
A senior member of the team providing support and serving as an L2/L3 escalation for platform issue resolution, troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Coordinate/plan & execute activities related to platform maintenance, Disaster-Recovery and Software release management
Configuration and tuning of production and lower-level environments
Perform capacity monitoring and proactive environment stability analysis
Responsible for the definition, review, documentation & communication of standards and Best Practices
Coordinate data refresh activities with the database administrators for all DataStage activities
Help development teams maintain schedules and interface with the operations staff
Must have, Skills required:
Hands on experience with IBM InfoSphere software installation and configuration (v 9.1 and above)
Proven troubleshooting & problem resolution skills
Ability to analyze & communicate root cause and resolution steps
Good knowledge of other ETL technologies that could help in making design, re-platform decisions
Very good knowledge of Linux/Unix systems; beyond just supporting the core DataStage platform that runs on
Familiarity with Windows and Linux Server best practices
Strong verbal & written communication skills
