Job Description :
Responsibilities:

Collects data to measure & analyze return-on-investment across several key marketing and business initiatives (e.g., Direct Mail, E-mail, etc)
Drive and manage cross-functional analytical projects and build out advanced analytical processes that allow analysts to find insights quickly and efficiently
Lead the presentation of complex analyses and insights to senior management in both meeting settings and via e-mail while ensuring clear and concise communication of recommendations
Perform campaign response analysis to understand the sales lift & ROI associated with each program to aid in the development of future strategies
Generate reports, documentation and scoring code as part of the analysis process. Produce expected performance measures including stat guides and other statistical measures
Dive deep into complex business problems and provide insights in various acquisition and retention initiatives through hypothesis testing
Facilitate requirements gathering with Marketing and other business partners to target, execute and construct customer-level analytics. This includes but not limited to creating reporting templates (wireframes) and aligning on analysis objectives and KPIs
Integrate best-in-class analytical & statistical and data-mining techniques to provide meaningful insights
Lead and mentor marketing analysts on various analytical projects
Execute appropriate quality control procedures for analysis, reporting and scoring and audit statistical analysis for accuracy
Ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables that meet expectations while balancing business needs with the appropriate level of analytical rigor
Requirements:

Ability to leverage story-telling skills to deliver insights that are clear, concise and actionable
Excellent oral and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Organizational, planning and project management skills and ability to effectively manage cross-functional projects
Positive and Energetic Attitude
Ability to work independently in a dynamic fast paced environment, with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact in a team environment with all levels of employees including senior management
Experience in project management preferred
Experience in calculating incremental lift from marketing campaigns
Clear understanding of financial, statistical and economic concepts such as ROI analysis
High proficiency in utilizing statistical methods to test hypotheses, develop insights and make recommendations
Deep understanding of creating artificial control selection strategies
Ability to design and implement complex analyses that may include advanced data mining, predictive modeling, forecasting and segmentation techniques
Prior retail analytics experience strongly preferred
Education/Certification:

Minimum of MA/MS in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field
Required Knowledge:

Advanced skills in SQL and Statistical Packages, specifically SAS (BASE SAS, Enterprise Guide, Enterprise Miner)
Experience with Data visualization tools like Tableau and Microstrategy Visual Insights
Knowledge of industry best practices with respect to marketing measurement, data-mining, experimental design and other statistical techniques
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, macros and v-lookups
Advanced skills in analytics presentation building
Experience Required:

8-10 years of analytics experience within retail, preferably focused on Marketing or Business Analytics
