Job Description :
Responsibilities:

Collects data to measure & analyze return-on-investment across several key marketing and business initiatives (e.g., Direct Mail, E-mail, etc)
Perform campaign response analysis to understand the sales lift & ROI associated with each program to aid in the development of future strategies
Provide recommendations on analytical methodologies and frameworks to be utilized for a various analytical projects
Perform and manage all the end-to-end steps required for analyses including requirements gathering, methodology development, data pulling, data processing, analysis, insight formulation and results delivery
Work with cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of analytics projects & initiatives
Generate reports, documentation and scoring code as part of the analysis process. Produce expected performance measures including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals and other statistical measures
Execute appropriate quality control procedures for analysis, reporting and scoring and audit statistical analysis for accuracy
Support the building of analytical capabilities and solutions (EDA, segmentation, modeling, campaign evaluations, etc) that enable analytics to support the strategic goals of the Company
Review, analyze and present qualitative and quantitative analysis and data to Marketing Senior Management and other business partners
Ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables that meet expectations while balancing business needs with the appropriate level of analytical rigor
Leverage story-telling skills to deliver insights that are clear, concise and actionable

Experience & Personal Qualities:

Excellent oral and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Organizational, planning and project management skills and ability to effectively manage cross-functional projects

Ability to work independently in a dynamic fast paced environment, with minimal supervision

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact in a team environment with all levels of employees including senior management
Experience in calculating incremental lift from marketing campaigns
Prior retail analytics experience strongly preferred
Experience in project management preferred
Education/Certification:

Minimum of MA/MS in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field
Required Knowledge:

High Proficiency with SQL and Statistical Packages, specifically SAS (BASE SAS, Enterprise Guide, Enterprise Miner)
Experience with Data visualization tools like Tableau and Microstrategy Visual Insights
Knowledge of industry best practices with respect to marketing measurement, data-mining, experimental design and other statistical techniques
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, macros and v-lookups
Experience in analytics presentation building
Experience Required:

5-8 years of experience in analytics within retail, preferably focused on Marketing or Business Analytics
