Job Description:
Title: Pega Decisioning Systems Architect
Location: Kansas City, Kansas
Duration: 6-12 Months
Role
A highly technical, hands-on, motivated and collaborative individual with exceptional communication skills and proven Pega Decisioning Architect experience, working with diverse teams of technical architects, business users and IT teams. Additionally, this person has a history of working in customer organizations on all phases of the software development life-cycle.
Job description
The Pega Decisioning Systems Architect should be able to work independently as well as work with the team for the development, implementation and support of various PEGA Decisioning components and rules. This involves planning, analysis, detailed design, developing/coding, testing and implementation of the Decisioning components.
Responsible for the business partners to realize opportunities for improvement through the implementation of predictive analytics and decisioning solutions.
Integrate and maintain moderately complex to extremely complex applications throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle
Work with the lines of business, support staff, and technology areas, to design a technical structure based on the existing standards and processes and meets the strategic needs of the business and integrates with other business and IT Processes.
Support, resolve and document issues that arise in the architecture.
This may include reviewing designs and recommending improvements to the architecture.
Work on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.
Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Requirements
2+ Years of Experience on Pega PRPC (6.x, 7.x versions) especially in Decisioning Management space
Pega CPMC and/or CPDC certification
Experience in developing adaptive models and predictive models and implementing best practices of those models
Hands-on experience in developing proposition data, proposition filter, strategy rules, and importing proposition data and interaction history in strategy rules
Experience in using data join, switch, champion challenger components in strategy rules
Integration of Pega BPM components and Pega Decisioning components
Experience in performance analysis using various Pega tools and performance improvement development
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to effectively interact with senior client executives and business partners
Excellent time management and organization skills as well as the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Preferred Skills/Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Information Technology (IT)
CSPMC certification preferred
Hands-on experience in Pega system architecture- BPM components preferred
Experience in Data Set and Data Flow components preferred
Simulation and VBD experience preferred
Revision Management experience preferred
