Required Skills:
Minimum 4 years experience in Business Analysis including functional specifications, creating design documents, use cases, user interfaces, and other documentation to facilitate requirements gathering.
Minimum 4 Years Experience in systems analysis and design.
Minimum 4 Years Experience with technical and user documentation, software conversions.
Minimum 4 Years Experience with the PC environment.
Minimum 4 Years Experience leading the design of program specifications and the implementation of software solutions.
Desired Skills:
Minimum 4 Years Experience in MAPPER Analysis/Programming
Job Description:
Work on a host of major endeavors, including major components and modules of the agency employment tracking system that consists of the automated employment plan, web interfaces with employment vendors, interfaces with the paperless office systems (POS) and legacy computer match programs.
Develop and prepare documents for the general design of solutions that meet system and security requirements, including the selection of alternative approaches.
Develop structured diagrams for the specifications of databases, communication systems, computer or storage area networks, security or network programs.
Develop, compile, maintain and document configurations of the following: databases, servers, computers, security and network monitor systems, packaged programs, macros, utilities, and communication systems.
Develop specifications for databases, communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage and software configurations.
Create management reports as required and requested.
Work with the customer to develop detailed specifications on new requirements.
Ability to work independently in an unstructured and fluid work environment
Work with agency staff (e.g. managers, senior programmers, support staff, product manager) to plan program code implementation, enhancements and changes.
Design reports, audit trails/logs, security mechanisms.
Occasionally contact customers as needed to clarify the intent of a new feature or resolve a problem.
Test programs and systems and integrates system modules.
Develop, implement, and monitor information technology quality assurance standards.
Work with the developers to devise detailed test plans on developed projects.
Work with the developers to troubleshoot reported system problems.
Work with MAPPER and Cool-ICE.
