degree in engineering, systems engineering, physics, computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
· Nine or more years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, operating systems programming.
· Experience working with specific software and/or hardware systems with a specific concentration in one or more areas
· Experience working with design principles and Windows Server applications
· Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Account access and controls, Service account setup and configuration, Security controls, and migration of systems to a more secure baseline
· VMware – Proficient with Design / Deployment / Management of VMware Products to include vSphere, VCenter, VROPS, VCAC, VRA, VCO and NSX.
· Senior Subject Matter Expert including Architecture, Engineering, Testing, Deployment, DR, Backup and HA.
· Windows – Proficient with Windows OS, Active Directory domains, SQL Server administration, IIS, Server Hardware – Proficient with HP hardware to include Rack servers, Blade servers, ILO’s, OA’s and Virtual Connects.
· Enterprise Infrastructure – Have in depth knowledge of networks / firewalls / SANs in regards to supporting virtual and physical server infrastructure
· Troubleshooting – Proficient at Systematic analysis to diagnose and trace data flow to determine cause and effect of issues.
· Strong Communications, Problem Solving, Leadership and analytical skills
· Able to assess and solve issues in a high-pressure environment.
· Strong organizational skills; Must be able to multitask without sacrificing attention to details.
· Able to work effectively with other groups and teams.
· •Must be able to come up to speed on new project areas quickly as this role will grow quickly
