Required Skills:
Experience administering webMethods (wM) v8.2 through v9.6. (10 years)
Experience working with wM JDBC, MQ and SAP adapters. (10 years)
Experience working with wM product troubleshooting, including custom code. (10 years)
Experience working with XML; WSDL; and fixed and variable length flat files. (5 years)
Experience working with Flow language; Java; and .Net (desired but not required (7 years)
Experience working with web services, Flow services, Java services, and Flat File schemas\dictionaries. (7 years)
Experience creating/maintaining technical documentation related to application interfaces. (10 years)
Advanced experience using wM Integration Server (IS); Universal Messaging (UM); Trading Networks (TN); My webMethods Server Designer; and Optimize. (7 years)

Nice to have skills:
Experience working with Trading Networks EDI/EDI INT v8.2 or higher. (5 years)
Experience integrating third party API’s using Java services into wM. (3 years)
Experience working C# .Net and wM REST resources. (3 years)

Project Description:
Resource to provide technical, hands-on administration/development essential for ongoing wM support; Leveraging additional wM components within the enterprise for those projects and/or applications leveraging wM. Resource will:

Role Description:
Assist in development efforts related to new and/or existing wM packages currently implemented based upon the standards, templates and security requirements created by the wM product administrator.
Assist current product support staff in solving any performance problems that arise during the contract.
Assist project and/or application developers and wM support staff with the development, testing and implementation of web services.
Reconfigure MywebMethods Server to aid in day-to-day administration; Optimize for Infrastructure (OPI) is managed through the MywebMethods Server.
Work with product administrator(s) to enhance their abilities to administer and develop rules within OPI.
Assist product administrator(s) with the implementation of the OPI component; including, but not limited to, configuring rule violation alerts and actions; setting Optimize performance levels; and configuring KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and events.
Assist projects in terms of how to leverage OPI to monitor overall performance and efficiency.
Provide recommendations to projects on standards and governance associated with OPI.
Provide support staff with knowledge transfer associated with the OPI component in an effort to educate project staff
Assist with troubleshooting efforts associated with the wM product as well as will any custom code.
Review the existing packages we support and provide product administrator with basic knowledge of development in terms of troubleshooting and changing code and/or fixing code bugs as necessary.
Assist wM support staff in developing web services, testing and debugging web services for Enterprise and/or project specific use, and associated documentation.
Assist in the solution(s) to any problem(s) that might arise, so that the wM administrator(s) can obtain the knowledge to address future issues in the absence of professional or contracted assistance.
Assist in documenting procedures and best practices for wM administrator(s
Assist in the day-to-day administration and/or operations; e.g., deployments necessary to stand up new projects within the current as well as upgraded wM environments.
Perform hands-on work as necessary to successfully support project testing efforts.
Assist product administrator(s) with monitoring the wM infrastructure; provide recommendations, as needed to improve performance; e.g., configuration changes, server upgrades, the addition of storage space.
Assist product administrator(s) with the current effort to upgrade wM v9.6 to v9.12.
