Description:
The SAP Admin will be required to provide technical expertise in support of SAP applications. They should be able to assist with installing and configuring SAP applications and learning the network architecture implemented. They are responsible for escalation and management of issues and solution approach to the lead. This role expects one to manage his/her own learning curve by aggressively utilizing subcontractor experience and written learning materials to come up to speed on the particularities of SAP including ECC/SRM/BW/PI/HANA.
The SAP Basis Administrator will be expected to independently manage their workload, coordinate priorities with their lead, and complete deliverables per the processes/standards established by the client.
Technical Skills Skill Years/Level of Experience:
· Mandatory 8+ years of Basis & HANA DBA experience
· 5 years of SAP Netweaver experience
Must have programming experience any language, just knows how to program in general
· Must have migration experience with HANA(Portal)
· Good understanding and exposure on BW data migration technique.
Experience working in 24x7 cloud customer facing systems.
· Technical Architecture experience
must be internally motivated, looking for those that have a passion for learning new technology
Good Communication skills and solid base technical experience
· Security+ Certification
· Preferred Prior knowledge of Unix Platforms
Job Responsibilities:
· Support functional, performance and security testing and help resolve any defects or open issues
· Resolve issues with architecture services and interface development
· Update documented technical landscape when appropriate in established project format
· Build/Install/Configure of SAP applications in different environments
· Support Pack and Kernel Upgrades
· Regular System Monitoring
