Job Description:
HHSC is conducting vendor solicitation activities for an initiative mandated by the Federal Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to replace a Social Security Number (SSN) based identifier with a new randomly generated number. In order to be fully compliant with the federal legislation, HHSC must examine and make necessary changes to all impacted systems and business processes. The Worker reviews, analyses, and evaluates project deliverables such as business user requirements, test plans and scenarios, test execution, and traceability matrix to ensure that all system requirements are met. Worker will assist Program Manager with other duties as assigned in a highly collaborative environment.

WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS(Required)
Minimum (Required):
Years Skills/Experience
7 Participate in deliverablereviewsand providefeedback to ensureuser specifications are met.
7 Create comprehensive diagrams of inputs, outputs, and report layouts for impacted systems and business processes.
7 Review system test approach, test scenarios, and test plans for completeness.
7 Assist with business process mapping using industry standards.
7 Experience creating and maintaining project documentation.
7 Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
7 Experience developing and distributing stakeholder communications.
5 Ability to communicate successfully with technical and non-technical groups to facilitate the coordination of project activities.
5+ Experience designing and creating process flow diagrams and other graphical diagrams using MS Office Visio.
5+ Experience with MS Office products: Word, Excel (including pivot tables, Gantt charts, and graphs), Project, and PowerPoint (developing and maintaining presentations
5 Assist Program Manager with other duties as assigned including maintaining consolidated work plans, creating project documentation, facilitating project meetings, and maintaining risks, issues,& decision logs.
5+ Experience working with Texas Medicaid.
Yes Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with other team members.
Yes Experience with developing workflow and/or data management processes flow using modeling and mapping tools.
Yes Strong multi-tasking skills involving the specific ability to work on multiple projects or project assignments.
Yes Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail in all aspects of assignments.

Yes Ability to research and prepare reports of findings under tight deadlines.

Years Skills/Experience
5+ Knowledge and experience with Medicaid and Medicare programs.
5+ Considerable skill in effective verbal and written communications.
1+ Experience maintaining SharePoint website. Including modifying site layout, user administration, and content management.
Yes Ability to network throughout the organization and develop relationships above and across hierarchies and functional divisions.
Yes Sensitivity to the status and priorities of the project''s stakeholders.
