Automation Programmer
Key Duties:
Develop a clear understanding of technical processes within IMD IT community with an objective to:
o Automate and script technical processes.
o Convert & automate all current manual tasks
Develop a clear understanding of existing
o Monitoring tools & technology
o Alert & Lifeline mechanisms
o Enterprice Management System & solution(s)
Managing relationships with app dev and IT staff
Required:
At least 4 years of coding experience in at least two of the following: Perl, Shell scripting, VB, etc.
At least 2 years of experience in either developing or converting manual processes into automated scripts.
Experience in at least two of the following techonologies: Unix, Windows, Databases and/or Networks OR
Experience in at least one of the above mentioned technologies coupled with experience in system support (UNIX or Windows)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to deliver in a fast paced & high pressure environment
Ability to develop successful client effective relationships
Strong team player
Strong knowledge of Incident, Problem and Change Management processes
Desired:
C, C++, Python
Experience in the Financial services industry
Systems administration experience
