Position: Webfocus Developer
Location: Dearborn, MI
Duration: 12 Months
Handle all aspects of systems life cycle for BI Reporting development process.
Perform analysis, application design/development and support using WebFOCUS technology in a Teradata data warehousing environment under the direction of a team lead.
Analyze specifications and develop and test reports utilizing WebFOCUS and Teradata/Oracle for small enhancements as well as strategic projects
Interface and communicate with business customers, team leads, architects and other solution developers for scope, estimates, requirements and project deliverables
Handle multiple project assignments with minimal direction and escalate issues as necessary to the management
Be flexible to respond to changing priorities
Work on-site 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday
Over three year experience in WebFOCUS development including metadata, reports and dashboards (v7.x or higher)
Hand-on experience with JavaScript, DHTML and CSS
Strong experience with relational databases and embedded SQL
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
Strong written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
Strong drive for results and ability to work independently
Self-starter with proven innovation skills
Ability to work with cross functional teams and all levels of management
Demonstrated commitment to quality and project timing
Demonstrated ability to document complex systems
Experience in obtaining and understanding business requirements
Experience in creating and executing detailed test plans
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
