Application Developer

Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: 5-6 months

Description:

Engagement Description:
- The selected Application Developer will be involved in the full systems life cycle of developing application software.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting the developed application software.

Top 3 Required Skills/Experience:
- Java Spring Framework – 4+ years
- VB 6 or VB .Net – 4+ years
- Databases: Oracle, SQL Server – 4+ years

Required Skills/Experience:
- Solid understanding of designing, development, database development, testing, and integration methodologies
- Experience in data architecture design
- Knowledge of current and emerging IT products, services and processes is required
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex problems or processes that span multiple business areas, identify and understand requirements, and develop alternate solutions

Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server
- Linux, shell script

Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor''s degree in related field preferred.
- 4 years of application programming and analysis experience required
- Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive creativity required across areas of expertise.
- Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.
- Other duties may be assigned.
