Job Description :
Roles and Responsibilities:
Consult with application project teams on the evaluation of potential vendor package solutions.
Collaborate with application vendor, project and infrastructure teams to define optimal architecture and support.
Implement the software environment, including middleware, such as Apache, Tomcat and IIS.
Implement environment monitoring tools.
Ongoing application environment support through regular maintenance, updates, performance tuning, patching, availability and vulnerability remediations, engaging the vendor as needed.
Ongoing application environment availability and performance troubleshooting as needed.
Application integration using LDAP, SSO, load balancers, and various databases types.
Adapts differing troubleshooting techniques to develop complex issue solutions.
Useful process-documentation management throughout various responsibilities of their specific assignments.
Demonstrate the ability to lead projects of moderate to advanced complexity.
Directly impact the team by providing direction, advice and focus for junior members; provide input on performance of other team members as needed.
Cultivates a network of resources for completion of assignments, while acting in a manner consistent with 3M’s values and ethical standards.
Participation in off-hours on-call support rotation.
Other duties as assigned.
