Support Nest Energy BD team with Account Management
As part of our Energy Partnerships team, the Account Manager will work on our largest and most strategic customers to position, scope and oversee the delivery of Nest programs and services. As an Account Manager, candidate will work with our Business Development teams to both sell and deliver exciting projects for our clients. In addition, there will be a focus on working with existing clients to deliver great customer engagement results including direct product purchases and service implementations. This is a highly visible customer facing role. To be successful, you’ll need to partner with people from various areas, both internally and externally, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance and Executives so need to be adept and effective as cross functional communication and coordination. This role requires a great deal of flexibility and wearing many hats - you will never be bored!

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Communicate with key Enterprise partner accounts to ensure all program elements are running smoothly. From new program implementation to ongoing partnership operations, it will be your role to ensure our day to day success.
- Coordinate with internal Nest teams regarding deliverables for key accounts - for the above, work collaboratively with Marketing, Finance, BD, Program Delivery, etc. to identify upsides and resolve any issues or questions that arise
- Prepare updates and status to enterprise BD team on key account progress - ensure we are tracking towards (and meeting!) our goals

Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop strong relationships with program managers at our clients
- Team with both technical and business resources to manage program launch and ongoing day to day program management and logistics
- Own stakeholder management and engagement communications
- Ensure program is tracking towards goals and resolve program delivery issues in a timely fashion
- Actively contribute and evolve Nest’s delivery and account management methodology, including processes and documentation
- Identify ideas for product improvement and communicate them to our PM and Product teams. Act as an advocate to help prioritize product enhancements and new development.

Required qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a fast-paced environment such as technology, consulting or a startup preferably in an engagement/project management role/ SaaS Software environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to present and convey ideas at multiple levels of an organization, including executives
- Motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas to inspire customer loyalty
- Proven experience building strong internal and external relationships
- Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through customer issues
- Experienced with change management and adoption methodologies

Nice to Have Skills:
- MBA degree
- Account Management experience in the energy sector
- Project Management Certification preferred
- Consultative selling
- Business Case development
