Job Description :
Pentaho Administrator will be responsible for taking the lead, responsibility, and accountability in managing the pentaho data integration platform.
The following are core responsibilities:
Document and Enforce Standards and Best practices for Development and Operationalization of ETL jobs
Manage Multitenancy
Install and configure big data components (cloudera, hortonworks)
Administer Pentaho Servers
Monitor and troubleshoot issues, and provide health check reports
Patch, upgrade, and secure the platform
Manage High Availability and Disaster recovery
Perform switchover and switchback on a regular basis
Act as SME for Pentaho development practices
Act as SME for pentaho technology/tool so that the team can consult
Linux / Unix experience and ssh/pgp key management experience, SSL Cert
Coach, train, document, and educate the team on all of the above
