QA Automation Engineer (Selenium required)
6 month contract to hire (GC or USC required)
Need only GC or Citizens on our W2
Software Quality Engineer
This person will be involved with the entire product lifecycle – requirements, design, review and coding, and testing- and work closely with project managers, software engineers, product owners, and quality assurance agents to collaborate and solve business problems in an agile development environment. The Software Quality Engineer ensures all software, services, products, and communications are free of technical, grammatical, or functional errors and meet the specified business and technical requirements. The Software Quality Engineer will also be responsible for recording and organizing all findings in a detailed fashion.
Essential Functions:

Help shape our products by providing input on user stories and designs and by giving feedback on usability
Development of comprehensive test plans for software development projects
Establish testing goals and objectives of new products and software
Define and apply test methodologies/metrics to ensure that the quality guidelines for the product have been met
Track issues and communicates findings to team
Perform Risk Assessments, actively communicating risks to management
Assist the project teams and management in defining test strategies on a project basis
Define and establish processes for Quality Assurance
Required Skills:
Experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS is preferred
Understanding of quality assurance as it relates to software development life cycles
Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining an overall project perspective
Must possess communication skills, both written and verbal
Education / Experience :
BS/BA or related industry experience
Minimum of 2 or more years of professional experience in automated testing including Selenium
