Immediate need for a Java Technical Lead. This is a 6 month contract opportunity with long-term potential located in Parsippany NJ. Please review the job description below:

Key Responsibilities:
Our client, a fortune 500 company is looking for a Seasoned Java Technical Lead. The resource will be a part of a fast paced team and will be responsible for application design and hands on development using agile/scrum methodologies. The resource will also be mentoring the junior developers on the team. The position does not have direct reports.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

Min 8 years overall software development experience with recent experience as a Tech Lead or Architect. Strong Design skils.
Hands on experience in an agile/scrum environment.
Extensive experience with Java/J2EE technologies with strong OOPS and core Java concepts.
Experience with design patterns. Experience application design and creating design documents.
Hands on REST APIs experience.
Spring (Boot, security, data repository)
Java 8
Messaging
Experience with MongoDB is nice to have.
Experience with AWS cloud or any other cloud platforms is a big plus but not mandatory.
