Position: Application Security Developer
Key Responsibilities / Requirements
· Excellent development skills on Java / J2EE.
· Expert in Writing and testing Web & Other applications and web services in JAVA / J2EE environment
· Create new software systems, remediate existing vulnerabilities
· Well versed in software design, implementation and testing
· Participate in the lifecycle development of software systems using agile methodologies
· Institute programming techniques that are free from logical design and technical implementation flaws
· Gain a thorough knowledge of attack vectors that may be used to exploit software
· Expertise in detecting and remediating various vulnerabilities comprised over authentication, authorization, input validation, session management, configuration, information leakage etc.
· Counsel your colleagues on secure programming practices
· Research/identify flaws and remedy development mistakes
· Understanding of vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the OWASP Top 10 etc. and should be well versed with defensive techniques
· Experience in Application Security Testing and Penetration testing
· Having good experience in Secure SDLC and Source Code Analysis (Manual & Tools) on WEB based Applications.
· Good team player with excellent analytical, inter-personal, communication & written skills, problem-solving and trouble-shooting capabilities. Highly motivated and can adapt to work in any new environment.
