Support Engineer

Our solutions engineers are part of a team of engineers that provides consulting and support for LaserJet SDKs delivered to 3rd party LaserJet solution developers.
You''ll be part of a team that provides consulting to 3rd party developers around the design and implementation of their printer based solutions.
You will be involved in assisting the 3rd party partners with SDK issues and questions.
You will also be involved in the selection, configuration, and integration of software development or support tools for partners. Finally, you will also present SDKs to and support customers in their use.
You will be responsible for all facets of post-release activities associated currently supported printing SDKs including Provide escalation level engineering and consulting for developer issues, escalation management assistance and SDK CPE issues/questions as needed Perform or consult on firmware component changes required to fix issues or implement enhancements to extensibility features, components and SDKs. Act as component steward for extensibility related firmware components on specific product lines as needed.
Develop subject matter expertise and provide consulting and/or feedback to internal and external business partners on current printing extensibility product features, SDKs, and partner solutions as needed.
Internal business partners include extended extensibility lab, future and current product R&D, business partner review forums, ATS, big deals, technical marketing, sales response teams. Manage delivery of technology content-including SDK intros and CPE releasesfor core printing extensibility technologies including (e.g. API and User Guide documentation, technology examples, FAQs, tools) Ownership for current extensibility SDK life cycle deliverables for core printing extensibility technologies.
Coordinate and/or deliver training for technology users (e.g. third-party or Client-internal developers) and current extensibility technology staff Technical lead on resolving partner related escalations on core printing SDKs.
