Role: ETL Onsite Lead
Location: Chicago Lombard
Responsibilities
- Working with business and IT stakeholders, lead ETL/Integration development, maintenance and production support efforts for business intelligence (BI) projects using Informatica, GoAnywhere and Control M.
- Lead responsibility: Lead a small team of 5-10 resources, providing technical leadership to team and providing status reporting.
- Strategize with internal teams on how to improve conversion and interface processes, tools and services.
- Lead the development and maintenance of upcoming and ongoing initiatives.
- Be involved at all stages of platform development, from architecture to final testing.
- Collaborate with others in crafting and implementing your technical vision.
Requirements
- Overall 8-10 years of ETL experience, preferably in Informatica PowerCenter.
- 3-5 years of experience in leading small teams.
- Experience with scheduling tools - Control-M, Tivoli, Autosys.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to design, develop, test, debug, and maintain application programs.
- Ability to present technical concepts to senior level business stakeholders.
- Must be able to work independently, while guiding and assisting other development team members as needed.
- Excellent understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Experience executing programs in an on/off-shore model.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.
- Ability to adapt to and manage change in a dynamic environment, revising strategies and plans as needed to smoothly change direction.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively, prioritizing efforts to handle multiple activities in parallel.
- Ability to maintain and build client relationships and able to comfortably converse with all levels in the client organization.
- Thorough understanding of system and software development life cycle models (SDLC) including agile lifecycle models.
- Should have excellent verbal and written skills, especially with regards to presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
