JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES
Software developer on critical project to integrate and automate cross asset class daily risk reporting. Involvement in full software project lifecycle: analysis, technical design, development, testing, release, support- Build partnerships with senior business and technology clients to understand business requirements, propose creative solutions and build maintainable systems - Opportunity for close engagement with intricate multi-function business as well as to learn the Investment Management business and interact with business functions and technology teams across IMD
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Strong experience in core Java
-Strong core capability in functional and/or OO programming
languages; Ruby JAVA, Python
-Good knowledge and experience with SQL
-Prefer 5-7 years of experience minimum
-Strong communication and consensus building skills, comfortable working
-Hands-on, demonstrates taking ownership of issues to ensure
successful conclusion
-Experience of partnering clients to deliver benefit to the business

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 to 7 years of software development experience
- Strong analytical and design skills
- Java, J2EE, and JSP development experience in a Unix/Linux environment is required
- SQL knowledge working in a Sybase/UDB database environment is required
- Must thrive in a fast pace environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Financial Products experience - Fixed Income, Equity, Derivatives,
Loans
- Regulatory Reporting experience a plus
- Experience with web technologies like AngularJS , JavaScript, REST and HTML
