Position: Sr. Selenium Engineer
Location: San Francisco, CA
Job Description:
Must have expert level software testing experience. Must be highly
knowledgeable with advanced QA test and bug reporting concepts. Must have
in-depth experience with creation of automation in Java.
Thoroughly test integrated software applications in a complex Unix and
Windows environment. The position will require the candidate to understand
system & solution designs and use that to define suites of automated tests.
The QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing and creating
the automated tests, will work within the automation framework that is in
place and will be responsible for executing and maintaining the automated
tests. At times, the QA Automation Engineer may be asked to determine what
test automation tool would be the best solution for the particular testing
activities that are required.
Responsibilities:
Work with your agile team to test features and functionality to ensure high
quality delivery each sprint that conforms to user story acceptance criteria
Responsible for testing, troubleshooting and debugging features that are
developed
Work closely with product design and product management to understand
requirements and translate them to test plans for functional and regression
testing
Manual and automation testing using the latest open-source technologies
*M*ust have expert level software testing experience. Must be highly
knowledgeable with advanced QA test and bug reporting concepts. Must have
in-depth experience with creation of automation in Java.
3+ years experience writing test automation in Java
Jenkins, Maven, Bash are necessary skills
3+ years experience using Selenium/WebDriver
Strong experience testing web applications and cloud-based services
More than 5 years of experience testing web applications
Experience testing both web user interfaces and web service APIs
Experience with design and execution of test plans
Strong troubleshooting skills with meticulous attention to detail
Experience with open source or commercial testing tools and frameworks
Solid familiarity with agile development processes and QA methodologies
Excellent communication and written skills
BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
Must have experience with Apache http client
Additional:
Knowledge of data structures like list, map, arrays, etc.
Experience with creating test cases using framework like TestNG
Experience with Selenium, AB testing concepts, Junit, etc.
Good analytical skills and think of out of box scenarios while testing.
Knowledge/Testing of REST apis
Parsing of JSON and XML
Agile methodologies (Scrum)
