Job Title: Lead Developer – Linux Admin with Docker experience
Duration: 6+ months Contract
Location: Dover, NH
Responsibilities
Demonstrate expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining infrastructure for highly scalable and complex systems in an enterprise environment.
Requirements
10 years or more of experience with configuration management, Linux system administration, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCE, Azure)
Strong experience with the Docker tool chain (Docker, Docker-compose, swarm, etc and major cluster Orchestration tools
Experience deploying Docker containers for production applications
Experience managing infrastructure, with strong emphasis on security and compliance with various industry standards
Experience designing and implementing a business continuity plan with disaster recovery for highly available systems in the cloud using known best practices and patterns
Strong developer background with ability to write good code (not just scripts) in one or more major programming languages (Go, Java, Ruby, Python)
Good understanding of various micro services architectural patterns (like APIGateways, CQRS, Service Registry, etc
Proven experience in leveraging automation and testing toolsets to improve release times and quality
Ability to design and implement new technologies where little documentation exists
Must Haves
10+ yrs experience with configuration management, Linux system administration, and cloud infrastructure
Must have been a SME or Technical Lead in recent projects related to DevOps
Strong experience with the Docker tool chain and major cluster Orchestration tools
Strong developer background with ability to write good code (not just scripts) in one or more major programming languages (Go, Java, Ruby, Python)
