DUTIES:
CERTIFICATIONS: BSC in Software Engineering or Computer Science,
numerous professional certifications dealing with software development.
AT LEAST 10 YEARS OF BROAD EXPERIENCE USING A WIDE RANGE OF SOFTWARE
DEVELOPMENT TOOLS, DATABASES AND OPERATING SYSTEMS.
Use of development tools such as Microsoft Visual
Studio, SQL, Java, Linux, Subversion, HP ALM, TFS, etc
Use of development languages such as Java, Visual Basic,
DOTnet, C++
AT LEAST 5 YEARS OF RECENT EXPERIENCE ACTING AS A SOFTWARE ENGINEER
USING AGILE PROJECT MANAGEMENT METHODOLOGIES
Development of solution architectures and then devising
product backlogs and sprint strategies.
Coordinating and or defining user stories
Defining strategies to address defects
AT LEAST 5 YEARS ACTING AS THE LEAD SOFTWARE ENGINEER PERFORMING THE
FOLLOWING DUTIES
Creation and evaluation of RFP packages
Assisting in the development of Vendor Contracts
Development of Work Break down structures and cost estimates
Creation of message sequence diagrams, system state diagrams
and interface control designs.
