WebSphere Portal Lead consultant . This is a Lead position
Location: Richardson, TX and Collins, TX

Seeking a seasoned Technical Lead, with experience in portal upgrades and application migrations. The successful candidate has IBM Web Sphere Portal consultant experience, with in-depth knowledge of migration strategies for large scale customer-facing applications. Experience upgrading from Portal 6 to Portal 8, is a plus.
To be considered, candidate must have strong leadership experience, with the ability to manage a team of experienced portal developers through migration challenges. Must have extensive knowledge and experience with:
· Personalization rules
· Themes and skins
o Theme Policies
o Screens
o Responsive Design
· Portal configuration (Pages, Permissions, Site layout, etc
· Deprecated APIs
· Security guidelines and standard practices
Detailed responsibilities include:
· Expertise in best practice, knowledge sharing techniques
· Ability to design for the migration approach
· Comfortable in a hands-on coding and implementation environment
· Able to conduct code reviews
· Experience with implementation and delivery
