The need to be more technical and it has to be JDE World.
Job responsibilities:
Candidate will lead the accounting department, through a demonstrated mastery of JD Edwards World, in training and developing the department to fully utilize the software. Candidate will be responsible for providing daily support to the entire Accounting team by creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, learning and best practices.
Responsibilities Include:
Working with the team to evaluate transaction processing procedures and assist with identifying efficiencies and best practices.
Training and education on the system.
Documentation of system processes to be used for on boarding and training of future staff.
Assistance in creating / modifying reports to meet the needs of the user community.
Influence over and executing on modifying the general ledger architecture.
Implementation of purchased yet unused system functionality.
Desired Qualifications:
J.D. Edwards World experience required, specifically intimate knowledge of:
General Ledger ,Accounts Receivable ,Accounts Payable ,Fixed Assets ,Budgeting
Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience with general accounting and financial reporting
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required
Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines and multitask
