IDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT-TO-HIRE position available immediately for a Drupal Developer to join our customer in Phoenix Arizona. This is an ONSITE position. Responsibilities:
The Digital Government Program is looking for the right developer to take our cross-platform experience to the next level. The Drupal developer will be responsible for working with a team on developing and maintaining 120+ websites using the Drupal Content Management System (CMS) following best practices and development standards. You will design, configure, test and modify responsive and accessible websites, from layout to function according to client''s specifications and requirements. The Drupal Web Developer will collaborate with the Digital Government team and stakeholders to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly designs and clear navigation.
The developer will also provide implementation services to our customers including style guide & user guide development, customer training, problem solving and general support services. The person in this position will monitor and advise the program manager, agency leadership team, and agency customers on best practices for: website development, accessibility requirements, usability, and visual design.





QUALIFICATIONS
Five (5) years or more of programming and analysis or equivalent experience with three (3) years of hands-on experience building Drupal sites. Applicant should provide examples or actual URL’s of Drupal sites. If you have a portfolio, examples of websites you have created, or anything like that, we want to see it!
Specific knowledge, skills and abilities we are looking for:
Understanding of Drupal database structure and schema.
Understanding of Drupal page/content type usage requirements for best practice construction of themes for reuse and flexibility.
Experience designing and developing responsive Drupal websites and themes utilizing base/sub themes, working with pages, blocks, menus, views, and forms.
Experience working with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and PHP.
Understanding of APIs and Web Services such as SOAP and RESTful.
Understanding of web accessibility best practices for ADA compliance.
Experience solving cross-browser compatibility issues.
Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. requirements, design, development, testing and migrating to live
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision
Ability to quickly and effectively analyze problems and implement solutions
Strong analytical, planning and organization skills
Ability to write technical documents and maintain software documentation.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Proven track record of excellence in customer service.
Quick learner, able to work independently with limited supervision.
Work well in a collaborative team environment.
