Job Title : Java Architect

Duration : Full time
Architect for building Securities Finance trading platform:
Provide enterprise architect solution and the roadmap to build complex application
Provides technical expertise in analyzing, designing, estimating, developing, and testing/debugging software applications to project schedule.
Designs functional/system integration tests and automation
Provides architectural guidance to the development team.
Provides subject matter expertise in reviewing, analyzing, and resolving complex issues.
Follows Agile SCRUM methodology for development of business functionality
Technical Skills
Extensive programming skills in J2EE, Core Java, Tomcat, JBoss, Oracle, SQL, PLSQL, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services, Angular JS, JSON, Jquery, Bootstrap, CSS, Jscript, Web & Network Architectures (HTTP Services, Load Balancers, Proxy services, ect, Maven, Clearcase, SVN, GIT, Junit, JTest, Jenkins, Cucumber, Hudson, Clover, MQ, PHP, Perl, scripting languages and other open sources technologies etc
Strong presentation/white boarding skills; lead architecture discussions in front of business leaders and technically strong colleagues
Strong knowledge of test-driven development and continuous integration
End to end understanding of software architecture, design, development and implementation.
Extensive hands-on experience with web-services and knowledge of SOA, web services standards, and other approaches to service-oriented integration.
General Profile
Bachelor Degree in computer science or equivalent technical experience
10+ years of Enterprise level architecture experience in major financial service firms.
Shares own expertise with others; will co-ordinate activities of others/the team
Strong written & verbal communication skills. Experience writing, reviewing technology documents including user guides.
Knowledge Expertise
Has developed specialist knowledge/expertise in one or more than one area within enterprise transactional systems
Applies knowledge/skills to a range of standard and moderately complex activities
Financial services/mutual fund/Securities industry a plus.
