Minimum Requirements
5+ Years with Bachelors degree or 11+ years work experience
Solid understanding of Architectural frameworks, principles, standards and governance.
Experience in creating architectural strategies, roadmaps and solutions.
Able deliver breaks down business objectives and delivery technology strategy, roadmaps and implementation guidance at program/LOB/Domain level.
Natural ability to simplify complexity, leverage and evolve new technology and provide OOB approaches to solve business challenges.
Ability to initiate and lead proof of concept.
Ability to evaluate and make recommendations of technology landscape.
Must be able to install, configure, maintain and tune CICS in a z/os environment
Experience with managing as many as fifty CICS regions spread across multiple LPARs
Should be familiar with BMC Mainview CICS monitors and historical data collection processes
Experience in CICS/DB2 connections and experience in CICS/Datacom connections a plus
Experience in CICS Socket connections and also EE helpful
Must support application programming staff with CICS issues
Preferred:
Understanding of storage management under the z/os operating system
Experience in disaster recovery and designing and performing system restorations
Experience Global Mirror disk replication and/or virtual tape a plus
Experience with BMC Mainview tools.
