Position Title- PeopleSoft System Administrator
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ months
Facility Locale: Must report occasionally to requested sites
* Due to government contract requirements, must be a US Citizen and
currently hold/ have ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Job purpose
This position will provide System Administrator expertise on the PeopleSoft
COTs Field Test Task Order
Duties and responsibilities:
Contributes to the overall strategic vision, and integrates a broad range
of ideas regarding implementation and support;
Works as member of a dynamic high performance IPT
Leads the establish of the environment including configuring AWS
Perform project activities related to system configuration the following
PeopleSoft HCM modules: Core HR, Global Payroll, PS Federal and Military
extensions, Benefits, PeopleSoft HelpDesk, and PeopleTools 8.55
Assist in conducting demos, conference room pilots, and Fit/Gap sessions
and propose options to fill gaps through product configuration, BPR,
customizations/extensions, or third-party products
Responsible for supporting and leading project tasks
Support of technology implementations from a technical perspective
including experience with cloud based technologies, data cleansing and
conversions, interface design/development, systems development life cycle,
etc.
Experience working remotely using the Agile development methodology in a
high-performance work team environment
Possibly work as a liaison between the work team and the DoD customer
Assist in the preparation of documentation, test scripts and the
resolution of Software Problem Reports
Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts
Qualifications
Experience with multiple PeopleSoft implementations
Strong experience in configuring cloud environments including knowledge
of DoD security requirements
Knowledge in understanding of business requirements, processes and
implementation approaches for the following PeopleSoft HCM modules: Core
HR, Global Payroll, PS Federal and Military extensions, Benefits,
PeopleSoft HelpDesk, and PeopleTools 8.55
Strong competency in the use of PeopleTools, PeopleSoft Application
Designer, Oracle 12c Databases and Oracle SQL Developer
BS or equivalent and 9 years related experience or MS and 7 years of
experience in PeopleSoft application development
U.S. Citizenship
Active DoD Secret Clearance required
Excellent organizational skills
Must be process driven
Working conditions
This position can be performed virtually; but will require occasional
travel to New Orleans, Louisiana or Falls Church, Virginia
