Knowledge/Skills/Abilities& Experience in:
Must be able to work independently and within a team environment to analyze
business needs and create required solutions.
Work independently with supervisory guidance to develop SQL queries, Stored
Procedures, SSIS packages as well as SRSS reports.
Best Practices in enterprise wide database implementation, availability and
SQL security configuration
Advanced understanding of RDBMS databases such SQL Server and Oracle.
Must be strong in Data Extraction (ETL)
Kimball method of database design & OLAP technology
Excellent analytical and program debugging skills
Understanding of testing tools and unit test and integration test scripting,
and testing methodologies.
Strong understanding of basic Database Administration
Ability to function under close deadlines with minimal supervision and under
potentially stressful situations
Prototype and demonstrate proposed solutions.
Document code and write clear and concise technical documentation
accordingly.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Explain and transfer knowledge to other team members.
Create periodic status reports.
Preferred skills/Qualifications/Experience:
Demonstrated technical leadership skills is helpful
Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) helpful.
Knowledge of Web Services and Asp.Net Web API''s helpful.
