Job Title: Senior Front End Web Developer
Location: Irving, TX
Duration: 6 Months
Duties and Responsibilities: • Designing and implementing responsive web application user interfaces that are optimized to run on desktops, tablets and mobile devices, for a set of target browsers and Operating Systems. • Analyzing, designing, and implementing software solutions of varying complexity, focusing on UI aspects that provide the desired experience for the user. • Thriving in an Agile development environment with frequently changing requirements. • Delivering elegant and well documented code. Be just as proud of what the user sees as they don"t see. • Supporting existing software including development of enhancements, defect resolution, determining and resolving performance issues, debugging, upgrading, deployment and migration. • Participating in, coordinating, or conducting Software Engineering activities to mature the Telematics software infrastructure including architecture, design, methodologies, best practices, standards, etc.
Minimum Qualifications: • B.S/M.S. in Computer Science or related field. • 5 years of experience on hands on development projects. • Mastery of HTML5/CSS3 and Javascript, working with Angular and Node.js. • Expertise with Content Mangement Systems and integration with UI/Presentation layer. • Familiarity with Sketch, Invision and other design tools to extract specs and assets.
Key Technical Skills: • Web technology Expertise: AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Responsive Web. • Experience with 3rd party libraries (jQuery, etc) to accelerate the development of UX/UI controls. • Knowledge of TCP/IP and related protocols - theoretical and also practical. • Experience in building and maintaining scalable and distributed systems. • Experience with version control software such as SVN, CVS etc. • Proven success in delivering working solutions under tight deadlines. • Experience working with a Content Management System. • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
