Job Description :
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Fulfill CLM BBSA service requests
Integration and Configuration of BBSA with the CLM suite
Coordinate to roll out CLM BBSA changes
Design and Deploy the Service Blueprints and Service Offerings in the CLM environment.
Configuring Pre- Deploy and Post- Deploy actions to modify service offerings
Creating Virtual Guest Packages and System Packages for Service offerings
Manage the Entitlement Packages and designing and deploying the Tagging Model for the SO
Manage CLM Bladelogic Network Automation (BBNA) solution operationally
Configure Location Layer, Pods, Container Blueprints, onboard subnets onto BNA
Onboard and Manage the Locations and Compute resources in the CLM Workspace
Troubleshoot any provisioning failure incidents related to Platform Manager, Mid-tier, or other provider issues
Perform Backups and Recoveries of Cloud Databases and Compute/Location layer resources
Work with BMC Enterprise Support team if needed to roll out new updates, hotfixes
Monthly and AD Hoc Patching activities and Maintenance of the CLM Infrastructure
Creating BladeLogic Packages and Jobs to deploy content, configuration changes, and applications on remote servers
Execute application stack provisioning by installing multiple applications and configuration changes in sequence
Perform patch management
Create compliance jobs to audit server assets and audit remediation results
Installation and Configuration of BBSA on Virtual Infrastructure
Responsible for implementation and development documentation, reporting progress, problems and solutions.
Fulfill CLM BBNA service requests
Experience in the following technology areas is also nice to have:
Certified on multiple BMC BSM product families
Hands-on experience with server patching (both Windows and Linux/Unix)
CCIE, CCNA, F5 Certification
Network Administrator (Cisco routers, switches, Juniper, F5)
Cross platform system administration (Unix and Windows)
Hands on experience with orchestration tools such as BMC Atrium Orchestrator, Opalis
Scripting / programming (e.g. UNIX shell, Perl, Python
Data Center operations knowledge
Database Administration (e.g. Oracle, SQL…)
Understanding of project lifecycle
