Job Description :
Responsibilities: -
- Support sales force to determine technical and business needs of customer
- Demonstrate product (onsite or remote) to prospects or customers
- Conduct detailed technical sessions (onsite & remote) with customer’s IT leadership in the areas of Operations, Engineering, Security, Enterprise Architecture and applications management
- Determine the product’s value proposition to prospect or customer through business case
- Stay current with respect to product features, road map and competitive landscape
- Represent product at industry events, make representations to analysts and evangelize the product
Qualifications:
Educational background - Engineering post grad or MBA equivalent
Technical background -
Experience in architecture and deploying complex enterprise products and solutions
Proven track record of working and engaging at CIO/VP/CTO Level of customers for technical and business areas
High level understanding of key technology products in the core IT landscape (servers, storage, middle ware, networks, databases)
Strong background and proven track record in Performance engineering
1. Capacity planning, Performance monitoring, tuning and optimization for Servers, OSs, DBs, Networks, Storage
2. High performance computing architecture (added advantage)
3. Knowledge of Performance optimization in any of the areas like Java J2EE, .Net, BI, ERP
4. Hands on experience with typical activities
1. Monitoring framework in context of key industry leading monitoring systems (HP, IBM, CA, BMC etc
2. Result analysis of production logs, performance test results,
3. Understand, define and co-relate factors affecting system performance (workload, Application, Infrastructure)
