The SQL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, monitoring and extending the data warehouse platform and analytics architecture to meet the enterprise’s business analysis and reporting needs.
The SQL Developer will be working in an integrated Amazon AWS cloud environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop enterprise data warehouse platform, capabilities, data schemas, and models.
Maintain and enhance existing BI solutions.
Develop SQL queries and stored procedure to satisfy data and reporting requirements.
Design logical and physical databases.
Develop SSIS packages, SSAS Tabular model, Reporting Services Reports and/or Analysis Services cubes.
Design, build and maintain ETL pipelines to support data and analytical needs.
Perform shift and load activities to the Amazon AWS cloud.
Perform complex data analysis and understand how business processes are tied to underlying data.
Determine, from data analysis, when the stored procedure scripts should be optimized to meet the business need.
Conduct design and code reviews and be responsible for deliveries.
REQUIREMENTS
7+ years’ experience on the SQL Server BI Stack (Stored Procedures, SSIS, SSRS)
Hands-on experience of working with SQL Server & Oracle
Experience with working on Amazon AWS Cloud services like S3, Redshift, EC2.
Experience in Tabular models
Experience in implementing engineering development, build and deployment processes for data warehouse/BI stacks
Experience with Hadoop eco-system is a plus
