Job Description :
Purpose of role:
Provide best fit MS Azure-based architectural solutions for one or more projects; provide MS Azure application transformation technology consultation; assist in defining scope and size of work; create technology differentiation; leverage partner technologies; participate in competency development with the objective of best fit and high quality technical solutions and creating thought leadership within the area of cloud specialization.
AOR:
Knowledge: Broad based understanding of multiple technologies/platforms/products in cloud domain/enterprise architectures and alternatives in relevant domain, with deep understanding of MS Azure offering. Ability to define (add/modify) new architectures on MS Azure cloud platform and anchor review of artifacts. Ability to define technology solutions for complex MS Azure problems. Appreciation of various consulting frameworks, strong customer interaction/stakeholder management skills. Ability to provide advanced MS Azure technology advisory services.
Strategy & Roadmap definition: Perform as-is analysis and provide to-be recommendations, evaluate product technology solution and provide solution to specialized problems in order to provide inputs on technical and domain road map.
Diagnostic/discovery/as-is assessment for technical consulting engagements: Conduct workshops to understand as-is system and arrive at possible solution alternatives to zero in on final solution definition.
Architecture: Create, consult and review architectural decision, solution, perform reengineering of architectures in order to create solution blueprint to meet project requirement.
Client management: Lead technical discussions with customer SME and stakeholders in order to provide strategic and technical differentiation to the relationship. Actively participate in client architecture and governance councils to define strategy for cloud adoption. Participate in decision making process for cloud adoption based on enterprise architectural guidelines, short term and long term business objectives, pricing and budgeting, etc.
Knowledge management: Create knowledge/certification artifacts, guide or provide technical training in relevant technology areas in order to develop talent in technology/domain.
